Wipe it down just as you would when dusting. If you have smudges that resist a dry cloth, you can use a small bit of a purchased solution such as ScreenClean to gently wipe down the screen.

Step 1: Unplug your TV and let it cool off for at least 15 minutes. This is important because any cool liquid can damage a warm TV screen. Also, if you need to use any sort of liquid product, you don’t want to take a chance on shorting out the TV.
Step 2: Wipe the TV with a soft, dry, lint free cloth. It is important that this cloth be completely dry and very clean. The slightest residue of sand or grit can scratch the screen.
Step 3: Spray some screen cleaner on your cloth and gently wipe the screen. Never spray cleaner directly on the TV, and always use the least amount possible to achieve your results.
